I often wonder what fragrances got people into the game. For myself, it was the below three:
Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male
Issey Miyake L’Eau D’Issey Pour Homme
Hugo Boss Boss Bottled
The mentioned fragrances most definitely captivated a generation, leading them to be best sellers, and now iconic in the fragrance word. If I said, fragrances could indicate what generation a person is, I don’t think I’m wrong, with the above fragrance list, yes, I’m a 90’s person. I enjoyed the above three immensely, and still do, they will always have a special place in my heart.
The first fragrance that made me realise, how special perfumery can be, was Mugler Pure Malt. I recall smelling this for the first time, just thinking wow. This fragrance made me realise how much I enjoy boozy fragrances.
